Per CNN Columnist Les Christie,
Sales of previously owned single-family homes were up 7.2% compared with June and 5% from July 2008, The National Association of Realtors (NAR) reported Friday. The monthly gain was the largest on record for existing-home sales, since 1999 when the National Association of Realtors begin tracking.

Energy efficient home

After all these years, I never thought I would be star struck by a house. This house is unbelievable. The guy went crazy, of course that's why it is not finished and in forclosure. The roof is copper, thermo heat 12" joists and studs, central control pannel to control heat and lights all over the house. The guy was an engineer and I am amazed that he put so much into this house and lost it. It is an incredible buy for someone who can finish the little bit left. It definitly is worth more than the 200K the bank is asking. It was great to see the statistics for mid year showing that prices have leveled out and in some areas increased in value. Great news for homeowners who have been waiting to move. The interest rates are great and the increased activity of buyers is good news all around. Minnesota homes for sale

Praise the angels and all the saints the downward spiral has statistically leveled out and we are no longer seeing property prices fall deeper into abyss. Hooray for all the sellers who have wanted to move on and have been waiting for prices to stabilize. I wonder how many people will decide to sell at a lower price and buy a better property for the same price they sold for/ It is hard to comprehend that you are mentally losing money on what you own and yet your moving up in style, location and space. Grasping that this kind of move will in the long run be a better investment than to stay in your existing property. Here I go rambling along and wondering if anyone ever reads this stuff, This afternoon we went to Redwing to their street Fest Corn Feed. When we arrived the sky opened up and the water came flowing down, we were soaked but the corn was the best I had this year. It definitely was worth the trip and the shower. We toured the military museum and went down to the levee. It was a wonderful outing.

Tweeting, Blogging, Face book

Oh my! I thought this was going to be a piece of cake, I got news for you; for me this keeping this stuff up is a job. I know, I know they tell me when I get good at it, it will be just minutes a day. Who are they kidding? I can't keep my eyes off other peoples posts, I need to read what my friends are doing, then I get these fun little games like mafia wars, and quizzes and there we go a few minutes turn into twilight. Hey that is a good word twilight......like zoning....that would be me with this social media. I am trying to learn this and keep up with being the best Realtor in MN, selling my homes I have listed and finding my buyers some great properties and still keep a pulse on the market statistics, loan rates and all the rules and regulations that change everyday all most; to know these things and to share this with my buyers and sellers, talk about information overload. Well now I feel better after I ranted and raved about my lack of knowledge with social media stuff. All kidding aside, I can truly see where this is going to be a wonderful, enlightening experience. I am told that you are out there, are you? do you really care about what I am doing? do other people feel as I do? I am not sure that anyone is reading this or that anyone gives a damn; no matter I am committed to doing this and I will succeed. Happy Real Estate hunting, Sell well. Be Happy.
